LOL, indeed. Most of the poly people I know are also nerds. This may be false correlation because I mainly hang out with nerds, period, but it makes sense that there's strong overlap of people interested in the new and the not-yet-here, and people willing to push previously set norms to get what makes them/their loved ones happy.
